Sub is crap, and those saying it should do more damage as it's complex, please explain Combat's cleave/AoE damage, clicking 1 button is hard.

Regarding number of healers, I think it will be hard to know until we reach the split phase. but be ready to heal, Dano :)

As always I'd like to see how we do with 2. Seems to me this fight is much about burning adds down fast.
If we can 2 heal the split phase the only big problem after that is coping with Rain of Fire in P3.

Well from that thread it's only used on normal and I'd personally rather not use a strat that only works on normal and we need to learn a new one for heroic. To be honest when we get there next we will have way more people with rings and 4 pieces, dps "should" be trivial at that point, we just need to learn the technique which was utter shite when we poked him.

Running in a circle and running between two spots, why is it only viable on normal? It just seems a bit more simple to me.

No idea, just what someone says in that thread. "This is more a normal tactic, for our heroic kills we use the run around the room tactic." Or something to that effect.

The 12% wipe. If we time Rain of Fire right, with everyone outside, heroism (more boss time if Infernals go down fast), more gear, everyone alive, we can kill it before second Rain? Or as it's incoming at least.

If yes, we can burn all healer CD's for the first Rain which should make it easy. Heart of the Wild, Treeform, Ring, Devotion Aura, Wings, Tranq = unkillable. Assuming we deal with mechanics obviously.

The 12% wipe was our best attempt, but still messy. Tagan was dead a good while and Toban died too. Even then, we got the boss to 12%

I don't see how this waiting for portals to push it will work, the gap between portals is not long enough to make any kind of impact.
Before they even spawn group 1 will be going.

It does make a difference. Look at the first video. We actually timed in pretty good, unintentionally. First group got out as Rain started. If anythng, we could've pushed him over maybe 5-10 sec earlier but everyone was out for Infernals. They die as second portal goes up. But that's with 2 people dying during Rain.

Third portals come up as next Rain is ending but people were dead.

I think timing it matters a lot. Just look at the first video. Need to push it over a bit faster and people alive.

Edit: in fact you can clearly see, in the next two videos, the timing is completely opposite. Leaving Khaz to deal with adds AND Infernals at the same time. Or Glordi/Toban.
In the last video the timing was close to perfect but I die to shit there.

If portal group enters main room with the boss at 23-24% - during Rain, I think that's how we want it.

2 Things. Why not tank a bit further away from the portals to give the voids further to travel> Few times there, the boss is right next to the portal, and the voids travel a min distance to their target. Second thing. On the 3 video, that Infernal seems to go for a healer, but then go taunted by the tank althought he had one on him all ready. Thats going to be a massive issue tbh.

Re: Getting a second Rain of Chaos, I'd be more worried about avoiding the third - remember for a lot of the time there are only 2 DPS on the boss.

Outgearing the crap out of it isn't going to work here :p

2 graphs. Top one shows boss health. We use Hero when boss is at 35 million roughly. That's 25%.
Bottom one shows Rain of Fire. You want it to show Shackled Torment. It's right next to Rain, it's grey'd out, just click it and you'll see Shackles in the same graph.You'll see that they line up with Rain.

Check Shackled again. They don't get Shackled in Rain of Fires. They even popped Hero at 35%, probably to avoid this. They knew they just had a Shackle go out, so they burn the boss quickly to start Rain. And it worked, they never get Shackles mid Rain.

One more thing, we need to utilize orbs better in p2 (mainly ranged). Ath was at 10% mana when boss was at 60% - that won't work.
